ERP Implementation Project Manager
– Local Government Experience
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software or systems engineering, accounting, or another technology-related field preferred
- Knowledge managing, supporting, developing, and/or analyzing ERP or related applications
- Experience in business analysis review, documentation, and process improvements
- Local-government experience Required
SKILLS AND QUALITIES
- Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator
- Project management skills required
- Outstanding presentation skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
CONSULTING-RELATED EXPERIENCE PREFERRED IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS
- Local Government Industry Experience REQUIRED
- Software Implementation Project Management
- Mid-Tier ERP Solutions
- Applications Consulting – Financials and Human Resources
- Business Process Improvement Analysis
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage multiple consultants, projects, and clients at the same time
- Facilitate project meetings and provide timely status updates
- Provide project management and oversight to client implementations
- Lead detailed requirements and specification activities
- Elicit requirements via interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, business
process reviews, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks, and workflow analysis - Notify management of any issues or target-date dependencies
- Discern user requests from the client’s underlying, true business-function needs
- Analyze and evaluate information collected from multiple sources, resolve conflicts, and interpret and synthesize high-level information into details for general understanding
- Develop documented business requirements, functional requirements/specifications, interface requirements, data conversion requirements, implementation requirements, use cases, and design documentation
